Biosketch:

Helen Mayberry is the Clinical Center Nursing Department's (CCND) Program Director, Safety & Quality; Interim Program Director, Nursing Professional Development. She leads Nurse Consultants and Nurse Educators in monitoring the provision of clinical research care; implementing organizational initiatives; maintaining compliance with regulatory standards; and training a competent workforce to delivery evidence-based clinical care. The effective use of data can drive change toward positive clinical outcomes, transform dialogue on safety culture, and inspire healthcare providers to ask intriguing questions that challenge the boundaries of usual clinical care.

Ms. Mayberry earned her Master's of Science in Nursing from the Catholic University of America. She is a graduate of George Mason University's School of Nursing, Fairfax Virginia. She has previously worked in adult medical oncology. Ms. Mayberry is passionate about collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and employing a variety of leadership strategies to influence the provision of high quality, reliable, and safe clinical research care.

Biosketch:

Teresa McDivitt is the Program Director for Staffing and Workforce Planning at the NIH Clinical Center. In this position, Ms. McDivitt provides supervision and project oversight, facilitates program budgetary processes, and acts a resource for staffing and workforce planning for the Clinical Center Nursing Department. She is also a FAC COR II/ Contract Project Manager.

Ms. McDivitt earned her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Maryland in Baltimore MD and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson State University in Towson Maryland. Her previous position was as the Nurse Manager for Supplemental Staffing in the Office of Staffing and Workforce Planning in the Clinical Center. She has many years of varied supervisory experience including positions as Nurse Manager in Surgical Intensive Care, Hematology/Oncology/Stem Cell Transplant and Neuroscience for the Clinical Center Nursing Department.
