NIH Nurse Practitioners Week observed Nov. 12-18

Roughly 50 nurse practitioners gather in the Clinical Center for a photo
During the week of Nov. 12, NIH and many others around the globe, celebrated the critical role of Nurse Practitioners, in the hospital environment. In an email to employees, CEO Dr. Jim Gilman, asked all to join him in "thanking them for their many contributions to the NIH and the Clinical Center." More than 170 nurse practitioners work at the hospital and provide the key guidance, support, and encouragement to the Clinical Center patients.
